Lady Bug Cake

I love making girly girl cakes! Time consuming but fun to see the ending! This cake was for a cute little girl turning two. All the pieces on the cake are edible. The accents are all hand made with marshmellow fondant. The bottom border is hand painted ladybugs, edible of course. The cake is a vanilla with buttercream filling and icing.

Thanks for looking!

Elmo Cake

I had fun making this cake! I love making new and creative things! This was made for a Valentine celebration. This design was originated by the customer and she loved the Elmo! This was a 9 in heart strawberry shortcake with cream cheese frosting. Everything but the rose stems are edible. Elmo, although edible, I think will live on for memories! :)

Elephant Birthday Cake

Made this cake for my brother's wife who is a HUGE elephant lover. With my brother's help, we designed this cake for her birthday. Everything is edible and molded from Marshmellow Fondant (MMF). The cake is covered and filled with cream cheese frosting- which was absolutely delicious- if I may say so myself. LoL.

The elephant is sitting on a patch of grass holding a heart. The small gifts spelled out her name and the lettering was all done with MMF.

This was one of my bigger projects and was very excited with the outcome!

Castle Cake

Made this cake for a boy turning 6 where knights and castles was the theme. This cake was my final cake, literally 12/31, of 2010. He absolutely loved it!!

3 tiered cake and a fondant covered buttercream tower. Chocolate and vanilla cakes with buttercream! It was a hit and the birthday boy was happy!

It was a great way to end 2010!

*I don't want to take credit for the origin of this cake. The mom printed a picture of a cake that she wanted and this cake was created from that inspiration.

Princess Barbie

Made this for a 5 year old girl. Strawberry cake decorated and filled with buttercream.

2nd Spongebob Cake

2nd spongebob birthday cake. Double layer sheet cake, half choco half vanilla, with vanilla filling. Cupcakes were vanilla with vanilla filling. Everything except the nose and pores(which is fondant) are buttercream.

Monsters Inc.

Lightning McQueen

This was my first offical order for a friend. Her son loved Cars at the time and really enjoyed the cake and he topper! This cake was half chocolate and half vanilla filled with bavarian cream and decorated in buttercream frosting.

Spongebob Cake

This was my son's 2nd birthday cake. Experimentation with molding using rice crispy treats were quite a success! Spongebob was a bit too big but either way, my son loved it! Gary was made out of fondant. Coordinated the cake with the decorations.
